r
7-Eleven/Stockton 27
May 1990
containers, labeled, preserved, and stored on ice. Simples were
transported under Chain-of-Custody Manifest to a State of
California-certified laboratory, GTEL Environmental Laboratories,
Inc. (GTEL) in Concord, California. Each sample was analyzed for
benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) , and for total
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH)-as-gasolirie by modified EPA Methods
5030/8020/8015. The sampling scheddlb during this period for the
wells on and near the site, was as follows:
O Monitoring wells and pumping'wells PW-1, PW-2, and PW-3
were sampled on three occasions starting with a
- rR sampling round on January 12, 1990.
o Domestic wells 9160, Tomato Growers (TMG) , 1927, 1912,
and 8968 were sampled on four occasions starting with
the sampling round on January 12, 1990.
o Domestic wells 9140, 9159, 9156, 9167, and 9172 were
sampled on three occasions starting with the sampling
round on January 12, 1990.
The results of the laboratory analyses of the groundwater
samples for this reporting period are summarized in Appendix 8.
• The laboratory reports and MDL for the BTEX and TPH-as-gasoline
analyses performed are presented in Appendix E.
Maps depicting the distribution of dissolved hydrocarbons in
the groundwater, based on laboratory results from monitoring well
samples from January and February, 1990, are presented on Figures
8 and 9. The distribution of detectable-dissolved-hydrocarbons
in the monitoring wells sampled during this quarter was confined
to samples from MW-1, MW-5, MW-i4, M11-17B, MW-17C, and RW-1.
CA GROUNDIVATER
TECHNOLOGY,INC.
