7-Eleven/Stockton
May 1990 27
effluent is also sampled and analyzed once a month for the
presence of metals. Laboratory analyses are performed, for the
presence of lead, cadmium, chromium, copper, nickel, and zinc.
For all sampling rounds, the sample analyses results indicate
that the levels of these metals in the discharge were below the
specified discharge limits. These results document that the air-
stripping system is not exceeding the permitted discharge
requirements. The results of the analyses for metals are
tabulated on Table 3 and the laboratory results are included in
Appendix E.
TABLE 3
AIR-STRIPPER EFFLUENT METALS
(parts per million)
DATE LEAD CADMIUM CHROMIUM COPPER NICKEL ZINC
1125/90 <0.005 <0.03 <0.05 <0.05 1 <0.05 0.2
SUMKARY
Work steps performed in addition to regular operation and
maintenance at the site included the installation of an on-site
monitoring well cluster and the upgrade and resurvey of all
wellheads.
[+ GR0t'ND11;aTF R
TF. nma.ocy.rxc.
