Telephone: (209)858-0101 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00051964 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> COMPLAINANT STATES TRI TIP WAS PURCHASED 5/17/2020. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THAT WHEN THEY <br /> OPENED THE MEAT, THEY DISCOVERED THAT THERE WAS A WORM INSIDE THE MEAT THAT RESEMBLED A <br /> MAGGOT BUT WAS MUCH LARGER. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> I spoke to the General Manager who was not aware of complaint prior to this complaint investigation. <br /> All tri tip comes to the facility in boxes. Boxed tri tip are all in individual cryo vacuumed bags. <br /> Once tri trip is received the boxes is stored directly in the walk-in (41 F). <br /> I observed boxes of tri-tip in walk-in properly stored on racks a minimum of 6 inches off of the floor. <br /> Per Meat Meat manager the boxes do not stay in the walk-in more that 2 weeks depending on the demand for tri tip. <br /> I observed meat manager open a tri tip box and remove the cry o plastic wrap and then trim the tri tip. <br /> I did not observe"a worm inside that resembled a maggot'at the time of my inspection. <br /> I did observe hand wash sink obstructed with items in the sink basin and one meat cart in front hand wash sink. <br /> Item corrected onsite hand sink is now unobstructed. <br /> (Signature for inspection report not captured due to COVID19 precaution) <br /> The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br /> Safety Code.If a reinspection is required,fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate. <br /> Received by: Name and Title: Gerald Garfield GM, Signature not ca <br /> EH Specialist: STEPHANIE RAMIREZ Phone: (209)468-9851 <br /> FA0012063 C00051964 SCO04 05/20/2020 <br /> EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report <br /> 1868 E.
