Flora St. Apt. #1 <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> RE PROPOSED: Las Reinas Food Shop <br /> 2900 E Harding Way <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Dear Ms. Rangel: <br /> This letter indicates San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) approval of <br /> drawings submitted for the proposed Las Reinas Food shop, subject to the following <br /> condition(s): <br /> 1. Obtain a Insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone <br /> number is 916-255-2501. <br /> 2. Food service openings: <br /> a. Shall be covered with solid material or screen. If screen is used it must be at least <br /> 16-mesh per inch.(CRFC Section 114259.2) <br /> 3. Walls and ceilings shall be constructed so surfaces are impervious, smooth and <br /> cleanable. (CRFC Section 114301) <br /> 4. The handwashing and food preparation sinks shall be separated from the warewashing <br /> sink or food preparation / storage areas by a metal splash guard, if separation is less <br /> than twenty-four (24) inches. Splash guard shall be at least six (6) inches in height <br /> from back edge to front edge [CRFC §113953]. <br /> 5. Tanks shall be adequately vented for flow. Water tank vents shall terminate in a <br /> downward direction and shall be covered with 16-mesh per square inch screen or <br /> equivalent when the vent is in a protected area or a protective filter when the vent is in <br /> an area not protected from windblown dirt and debris. (CRFC Section 114213) <br /> 6. Mechanical exhaust ventilation equipment shall be provided over all cooking equipment <br /> as required to effectively remove cooking odors, smoke, steam, grease, heat, and <br /> vapors. All mechanical exhaust ventilation equipment shall be installed and maintained <br /> in accordance with the California Mechanical Code.
