<br /> Per your request on Febuary 18, 2020,Amazon is providing the following information in connection with
<br /> your onsite inspection of Delivery station DCK1, located at 2403 W Louise Avenue, Manteca, California
<br /> 95337 (the "Facility'), each of which is attached:
<br /> 1. Agency Observation: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily
<br /> documented)that employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. Per Alba
<br /> Recinos (Safety Specialist)the drums of hazardous waste were mis-labeled as non-hazardous by
<br /> a new employee who needed more training.
<br /> Requested Corrective Action: Immediately train the employees. Provide proof of training and a
<br /> copy of the hazardous waste training materials within 30 days to the San Joaquin County
<br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD)for employees whose responsibilities include
<br /> hazardous waste.
<br /> Amazon's Response:All employees who handle waste are trained in Resource Conservation and
<br /> Recovery Act (RCRA). See attachment (#1 Hazardous Waste Training- RCRA Module 22106_03.30.2016y,
<br /> #2 HazmatCert as of 2020).The newly trained associate that was observed on February 2, 2020 was first
<br /> trained on January 28, 2020. When being made aware of the mislabeling of drums this associate was
<br /> sent for a retrain in RCRA module 22106 completed February 24, 2020. See attachment(#3 DCK1 22106
