(AGE)and has the following comments.
In the Report AGE' submits the results of laboratoryanalysis y performed on groundwater
samples collected at the contaminated underground storage (UST) tank site located at
2353 Toste Road, known as Tracy Marine, which is located across the street to the west of the
subject site, The Tracy Marine site has undergone groundwater remediation by ozone infusion,
and the collected samples were analyzed for bromate, bromide, chromium and hexavalent
chromium, which are;potential byproducts of treatment by ozone.
In the Report AGE proposes to analyze groundwater samples from wells MW-1B and MW-4 on
the Curtiss-Pontiac site for these same constituents to compare the results and help determine
if the use of ozone infusion would be a feasible remedial alternative to treat the recalcitrant
groundwater contamination at this site, These analyses would be done at the next scheduled
routine groundwater monitoring and sampling event, which should take place in June 2010; The
EHD agrees with this recommendation.
1fou have any y questions please: contact Lori Duncan at (209) 468.0337, or by email at
Iduncan@sjcehd.com.
Sincerely,
i
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
