(AGE) has prepared this report for the <br /> destruction of three ground water monitoring wells (MW-4 through MW-6) at 31244 South <br /> Highway 33, Tracy, California (site). The site location is depicted on Figure 1; site <br /> structures and former monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2. Site background <br /> information is included in Appendix A. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Three single completed two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells (MW-4 through <br /> MW-6) had been installed at the site in May 2009 as part of a subsurface investigation to <br /> determine if historical contaminants were present in shallow ground water. Monitoring wells <br /> MW-4 through MW-6 were installed to depths of 25 feet below surface grade (bsg). Well <br /> construction details are summarized in Table 1, boring logs are included in Appendix B. <br /> As directed bythe California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB)letterdated <br /> 07 October 2010 (Appendix C), monitoring wells MW-4 through MW-6 were destroyed <br /> under San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) permit SR#61247 <br /> (Appendix C) in order to fulfill requirements for site closure.
