The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for HECTOR REYNOSO MOBILE SERVICE as of Novernber20, 2019. <br /> Open violations from September 19, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br /> OBSERVATIONt This business does not have an active hazardous waste ID number in the California Department <br /> of Toxic Substances Control(DISC) database. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br /> transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Identification <br /> (ID) Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br /> month, less than 1 kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br /> numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-,epa-,id-number/ <br /> to reactivate your State ID number. Immediately reactivate your ID number and submit evidence to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> 0111�This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included _ <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Lr + <br /> Violation #102 - Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATIONS The facility generates ash waste from cleaninggesel particulate filters. Hector Reynoso, <br /> Owner, was not sure how he was going to dispose of the waste. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste <br /> as specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations (CCR). There are wastes that are listed as hazardous <br /> wastes. There are wastes that exhibit one or more of the hazardous waste characteristics: toxic, corrosive, reactive <br /> or ignitable. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately make a complete hazardous waste determination for the ash waste, and <br /> manage it according to Title 22 CCR. Use Safety Data Sheets (SDS), waste sampling and test results or other <br /> knowledge to support your hazardous waste determination. Waste testing must be done using methods specified in <br /> Title 22 CCR including sections 66261.20-24. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation with your hazardous waste determination.
