Groundwater samples
were collected from the monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 on May 3, 1995 and August
31, 1995. The samples during both sampling events were subsequently analyzed for Total .
Petroleum Hydrocarbons as referenced to.gasoline (T PH-G); benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and
xylenes (BTEX), and Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as referenced to diesel (TPH- D). Based on
sounding data obtained at both sampling events the groundwater gradient was}estimated to flow
towards the west/northwest at 0,01 ft/ft.
Groundwater Levels
The depth to groundwater:was measured .,the: ..three monitoring wells with an electrical
- conductivity-based water level indicator on May 3, 1995 and August 31, 1995. The water level
probe was decontaminated in a trisodium.phosphate (TSP) wash followed by a distilled water
rinse, prior to use in each well.' Measurements were made to the surveyed mark on the north rim
of the monitoring well PVC casings. Measurements were made to the nearest 0.0',1 foot. The water
level measurements were converted to elevations using the surveyed casing elevations.
The groundwater elevations for May 3, 1995 and August 31, 1995, both indicated a groundwater
gradient of approximately 0.01 ft./ft. toward the west/northwest. The groundwater flow direction
was found to be consistent with the previous assessment sounding data.
41 R a r
&OU50006 Page 1 of 4 ®1995,Klernfelder,Inc.
L KLEINFELDER 2825 East Myrtfe Street, Stockton, CA .95205-4794 - (209) 948-1345
Lim —
t n
