File Noy 20-3769-01 k" K LEIN FEL D E R December 20, 1995 The groundwater samples were analyzed for: • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons Purgeable(Gasoline Range)by EPA Method 8015M/5030 [TPH-G] • Benzene, Toluene,Ethylbenzene, Total Xylenes by EPA Method 8020/5030 [BTEX] Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons Extractable(Diesel Range)by EPA Method 3510/8015M [TPH-D] None of the aforementioned analytes were reported at or above analytical reporting limits during either the May and August sampling events for monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3. For additional information regarding the analytical results for the groundwater samples obtained wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3, please refer to the chain-of-custody and laboratory data sheets in Appendix B. CONCLUSIONS During a telephone conversation with Mr. Ron Rowe of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Department Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD), closure of the site would be granted if. • Two consecutive sampling events for the three on-site monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and ' MW-3 were non-detect for the aforementioned analytes, (TPH-G,BTEX, and TPH-D). Kleinfelder therefore recommends closure of the site in reference to the three existing monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3, located at the subject site. Furthermore Meinfelder recommends the destruction of the three on-site monitoring wells according to PHS/EHD guidelines. A copy of this report be submitted to the State of California Regional Water Quality Control Board - (RWQCB) and the PHS/EHD for their review and consideration. LIMITATIONS Kleinfelder has prepared this report m accordance with the generally accepted standards of care which existed in northern California at the time of writing. Disposal, storage, treatment, recycling or other handling of hazardous soils generated during the sampling will be the responsibility of Tracy Community Memorial Hospital. Nothing contained in this report should be construed or +� interpreted as requiring Kleinfelder, Inc. to assume the status of an owner, operator, generator, or person who arranges for disposal, transport, storage or treatment of hazardous materials within the meaning of any governmental statute, regulation or order.
