File Noy 20-3769-01 k" K LEIN FEL D E R <br /> December 20, 1995 <br /> The groundwater samples were analyzed for: <br /> • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons Purgeable(Gasoline Range)by EPA Method <br /> 8015M/5030 [TPH-G] <br /> • Benzene, Toluene,Ethylbenzene, Total Xylenes by EPA Method 8020/5030 [BTEX] <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons Extractable(Diesel Range)by EPA Method <br /> 3510/8015M [TPH-D] <br /> None of the aforementioned analytes were reported at or above analytical reporting limits during <br /> either the May and August sampling events for monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3. <br /> For additional information regarding the analytical results for the groundwater samples obtained <br /> wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3, please refer to the chain-of-custody and laboratory data sheets in <br /> Appendix B. <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> During a telephone conversation with Mr. Ron Rowe of the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services Department Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD), closure of the site would be <br /> granted if. <br /> • Two consecutive sampling events for the three on-site monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and <br /> ' MW-3 were non-detect for the aforementioned analytes, (TPH-G,BTEX, and TPH-D). <br /> Kleinfelder therefore recommends closure of the site in reference to the three existing monitoring <br /> wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3, located at the subject site. Furthermore Meinfelder recommends <br /> the destruction of the three on-site monitoring wells according to PHS/EHD guidelines. A copy of <br /> this report be submitted to the State of California Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> (RWQCB) and the PHS/EHD for their review and consideration. <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> Kleinfelder has prepared this report m accordance with the generally accepted standards of care <br /> which existed in northern California at the time of writing. Disposal, storage, treatment, recycling <br /> or other handling of hazardous soils generated during the sampling will be the responsibility of <br /> Tracy Community Memorial Hospital.
