Final Remedial Plan 1 September 1992
3788 Tracy Boulevard Rev. : D1
Tracy, California P1745R005.WP
FINAL REMEDIAL PLAN
I3788 Tracy Boulevard
Tracy, San Joaquin County, California
' This Final Remedial Action Plan (FRP) addresses oil and
gasoline-bearing soil and groundwater identified at 3788 Tracy
Boulevard in Tracy, San Joaquin County, California. The location
' of this site is shown in Figure 1, attached.
An estimated 610 cubic yards of soil underlying the site
has been found to have oil, gasoline, or both oil and gasoline
present due to leakages and possible overfill of underground
storage tanks (USTs) .
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SITE
The property is located north of central Tracy, at the
Inortheast corner of Tracy Boulevard and Interstate 205. It is
bounded on the north by a driveway and then an open field, on the
east by a wide driveway/parking lot and then a motel, on the south
by a driveway and then a restaurant, and on the west by Tracy
Boulevard and then a gas station. The land is almost flat and lies
at an elevation of approximately 15 feet above mean sea level. The
' ground surface slopes at a low angle toward the San Joaquin Delta
to the north.
ISoil borings indicate that the underlying sediments
consist of a blend of clay and silt, with lesser very-fine sand.
The sediments are generally more clay-rich in the upper eight feet.
Plant fibers and plant fragments are abundant as discrete horizons.
The soil is brown or gray; generally the gray is associated with
organic matter such as the plant fibers and fragments. A 1. 2-foot-
thick layer of very fine sand was encountered at the 15-foot depth
