INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Bob Yamada of Yamada Brothers, Inc , Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this Quarterly Report for the property located at 15406 <br /> South Tracy Boulevard, Stockton, California The scope of work included quarterly ground water <br /> monitoring and preparation of this report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding <br /> area arc illustrated on Figure 1, structures and monitoring well locations on the site are illustrated <br /> on Figure 2 Background information is summarized in the Preliminary Site Assessment Report - <br /> February 1999, prepared by AGE <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Quarterly ground water monitoring was performed on 11 April 2000 Field work was performed in <br /> accordance with the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS-EHD)and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for <br /> the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 11 April 2000, a Solinst water Ievel meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in the <br /> three wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient were <br /> determined from this data(Table 1) <br /> After recording water level measurements, a two-stage submersible pump was used to purge each <br /> monitoring well of standing water Approximately 10 to 11 gallons of water were removed from each <br /> well (approximately 3 standing casing volumes) Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity, <br /> were measured at regular intervals during the purge process using a Hydac water analyzer Field data <br /> sheets are included in Appendix A Purged water was stored on site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT- ' <br /> approved drums <br /> 2 2 COLLECTION AND LABORATORY ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from each purged well using new disposable plastic bailers Each <br /> water sample was transferred into laboratory-supplied 40-m1 VOA vials containing 0 5 ml 18% <br /> hydrochloric acid as a sample preservative, and into 1-liter glass amber bottles without a <br /> preservative After collection, the samples were properly labeled, placed in a chilled container and <br /> transported under chain-of-custody to McCambell Analytical Laboratories, Inc , and were analyzed <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
