• 26 July 2000
AGE-NC Project No 98-0452
Laboratory ID 34960-34963) and chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix B
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE concludes the following
• The ground water gradient was calculated to be 0 0027 ft/ft directed S 16° E
• Based on the lack of detectable concentrations of TPH-g and BTEX compounds from
previous sampling events,PHS-EHD personnel directed AGE to discontinue the analysis for
the above mentioned analytes in the ground water samples collected from the April 2000
samphng event
• TPH-d was not detected above laboratory reporting limits in any of the ground water samples
collected and analyzed
• MTBE was detected at concentrations as high as 9 1 ppb in monitoring well MW-3,
exceeding the State of California's secondary MCL of 5 ppb, but not exceeding the State of
California's action level of 13 ppb
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends
• An additional ground water monitoring event to fiu-ther assess the concentrations of MTBE
The next quarterly monitoring event should be scheduled for July 2000
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon field
measurements and analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the
geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a
limited number of available data points (x a probe boring soil and ground water samples) and
subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or
implied, is made as to the professional recommendations contained in this report
•
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
