. QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING REVIEW
QUARTERLY GTS MONITORING AND SAMPLING REVIEW
4614 W TURNER RD. , LODI
PAGE 3
Summary
MW-3 showed 120 . 0 ppb TPHg In the first quarter of 1994 , MW-3
also showed 96 0 ppb TPHg The second quarter 1994 showed no
detection of TPHg These intermittent small readings indicate a
very low level of residual contaminants MW-3 once again showed
no detectable amounts of Benzene , Ethylbenzene , Toluene , or
Xylene , it has had no detectable amounts of these contaminants
since January of 1993
MW-1 (currently the extraction well providing the influent to the
GTS) is closest to the site of the former underground tank MW-1
continues to show trace amounts of Benzene, Ethylbenzene, and
Xylene There were no detectable amounts of TPHg in MW-1
Chronic intermittent trace readings of contaminants in two wells
closest to the tank location (MW-1 & MW-3 ) indicate a "dying"
contamination. Sebastiani Vineyards is in the process of
retaining an engineer to evaluate the monitoring well data and
. propose closure of the site.
I can be reached at ( 209) 339-1311 with any questions or comments
you may have related to this project .
Yours truly,
SEBSTIANI VINEYARDS
V
Stephen Manildi
Attachments
cc California Regional Water Quality Control Board
