returned to storage for use around the facility. We donate useable latex paint to various
non-profits in the Stockton area and will continue to do so. These include:
Stockton Gospel Rescue Mission
445 S. San Joaquin Street
Stockton, CA 95203
Stockton Civic Theater
2312 Rosemarie Lane
Stockton, CA 95207
Children's Home of Stockton
430 N. Pilgrim Street
Stockton, CA 95205
Quail Lakes Baptist Church
1906 Quail Lakes Drive
Stockton, CA 95207
Greater New Hope Deliverance COGIC
1467 Michael Ave
Stockton, CA 95206
Three of the spray cans contained "Glitter"paint and no amount of cleaning was able to
make them function properly. These were disposed of the San Joaquin County
Household Hazardous Waste Consolidation Facility (HHW) located at 7850 R A
Bridgeford Street. The remainder of the products were kept for use around the facility
and included the insect spray, the Round Up, paint thinner, Goof Off, motor oil and chain
saw bar oil.
We are working with our recycled paint distributor, Visions Paint, to determine if they
are willing to accept our empty colorant cans for disposal and/or recycling. If Visions is
unable, they will eligible for recycling with San Joaquin County Household Hazardous
Waste Consolidation Facility (HHW) located at 7850 R A Bridgeford Street.
In addition to the commercial 50-gallon chemical spill container previously identified, we
have purchased an additional 4 five-gallon chemical spill containers to be located around
the store. Our store log indicates there have only been four chemical spills in the
previous 16 months. Quantity generated is less than one gallon, two were less than one
quart. We will no longer simply dispose of the waste without determining hazardous
potential. They will eligible for recycling with San Joaquin County Household
Hazardous Waste Consolidation Facility (HHW) located at 7850 R A Bridgeford Street.
