The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br />addressed for TOWER PARK RESORT/MARINA as of June 12, 2020. <br />Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br />Violation #601 - Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br />OBSERVATION The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site at the used oil collection area with <br />no accumulation start dates: <br />-One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily absorbent <br />-One black 55 gallon steel drum containing non-crushed/punctured oil filters <br />-One 300 gallon hazardous waste tank storing used oil (the gauge indicated the tank was partially full) <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br />(a) a generator may accumulate hazardous waste on-site for 90 days or less <br />(b) The beginning of the 90 day period is determined as follows: <br />(1) if the generator does not generate more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely <br />hazardous waste (listed in section 66261.33(e)) or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar <br />month, the 90 day period begins on the date the generator has accumulated 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or <br />one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste; <br />(2) if the generator generates more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely hazardous <br />waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar month, the 90 -day period begins on the <br />first date on which any amount of hazardous waste begins to accumulate during that month. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 90 days in <br />compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br />disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) within 30 days. <br />❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br />❑ Supporting documents included <br />Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />
