The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for TOWER PARK RESORT/MARINA as of June 12 , 2020 . Open violations from February 25 , 2020 inspection CORRECTIVE ACTION : Have a qualified Professional Engineer prepare a tank assessment for the 290 gallon used oil tank . Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) within 30 days . Provide a copy of the tank assessment, when available . ❑ This violation was corrected 11This violation will be corrected by ( date) : ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : Violation #507 - Failed to conduct daily inspections of hazardous waste tank system and maintain records onsite . OBSERVATION: The facility has a 290 gallon used oil hazardous waste tank . Three years of complete daily tank inspection records were not observed during the inspection . REGULATION GUIDANCE: (a) The owner or operator shall inspect, where present, at least once each operating day: ( 1 ) overfill/spill control equipment (e . g . , waste-feed cutoff systems , bypass systems , and drainage systems) to ensure that it is in good working order; (2 ) the aboveground portions of the tank system , if any , to detect corrosion or releases of waste ; ( 3 ) data gathered from monitoring equipment and leak-detection equipment, (e . g . , pressure and temperature gauges , monitoring wells ) to ensure that the tank system is being operated according to its design ; (4) the construction materials and the area immediately surrounding the externally accessible portion of the tank system including secondary containment structures (e . g . , dikes) to detect erosion or signs of releases of hazardous waste (e . g . , wet spots , dead vegetation ) ; and ( 5 ) for uncovered tanks , the level of waste in the tank , to ensure compliance with section 66265 . 194 ( b ) (3 ) . ( c) The owner or operator shall document in the operating record of the facility an inspection of those items in subsection (a) of this section . CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately start conducting and documenting complete daily hazardous waste tank inspections .
