The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for TOWER PARK RESORT/MARINA as of June 12 , 2020 . <br /> Open violations from February 25, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation #601 - Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization . <br /> OBSERVATION The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site at the used oil collection area with <br /> no accumulation start dates : <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing oily absorbent <br /> -One black 55 gallon steel drum containing non -crushed/punctured oil filters <br /> -One 300 gallon hazardous waste tank storing used oil (the gauge indicated the tank was partially full) <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> (a) a generator may accumulate hazardous waste on-site for 90 days or less <br /> ( b) The beginning of the 90 day period is determined as follows : <br /> ( 1 ) if the generator does not generate more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely <br /> hazardous waste ( listed in section 66261 . 33 (e ) ) or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar <br /> month , the 90 day period begins on the date the generator has accumulated 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or <br /> one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste ; <br /> (2 ) if the generator generates more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely hazardous <br /> waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar month , the 90-day period begins on the <br /> first date on which any amount of hazardous waste begins to accumulate during that month . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 90 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations .
