eFUEL, LLC <br /> <br />11 <br />It is imperative to state that the completed SP001 Formal Inspection does not release the tank <br />owner from their requirements to complete monthly and annual inspections of the tank system <br />by a qualified individual familiar with the system components. Contact a petroleum contractor <br />for additional training if necessary. <br /> <br /> <br />5. Authorized Aboveground Tank System Inspector Certification <br />eFUEL, LLC. manages a fleet of tanks throughout California. In addition, eFUEL’s Fuel <br />Maintenance Division services factory built fuel tanks and generators. Jon Lorente was an <br />Inspector with a major City Fire Department prior to coming to work with eFUEL, LLC. as <br />their Director of Compliance and Safety. In addition to his experience and background as a <br />Fire Inspector, Jon was certified through the Steel Tank Institute as an Aboveground Tank <br />Inspector in 2018 and has inspected tanks for Fortune 5 companies in the Bay Area. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6. Limitations <br />This inspection was completed according the STI SP001 standard. All observations made during <br />the inspection were relevent and current as of the date of the inspection. eFUEL, LLC. does not <br />warranty or guarantee the future functionality or integrity of the tank system. eFUEL, LLC. <br />and/or its affiliates are not responsible for any compliance requirements associated with the <br />tank system, follow up for any current or future regulatory violations, or confirming if the <br />recommended and required action items noted in the inspection for continued use of the tank <br />system are completed. eFUEL, LLC. will not be returning to the site for a follow-up inspection to <br />verify if completed action items were addressed unless contracted to do so. <br /> <br />The maintenance of the tank is critical to its long term life span. This includes maintaining the <br />external coating on the tank and ensuring the interstitial space is kept clear of liquid. <br /> <br />Regarding the information used to form the report, all observations were noted on external and <br />observable items, documentation provided to the inspector from the tank owner, contractor <br />and design engineer’s SPCC plan. Additional information unknown at the time of inspection <br />may, and likely would, alter the recommendations, required actions and observations made <br />during the inspection. Considerable effort was made to ensure the attached report is thorough <br />and in accord with like reports in the industry. <br />
