( 1 ) Section 9-3233 : Special fence requirements. SECTION Section 9-4110, Chapter 2 , Division 4 , Title 9 , of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby added to read as follows : SECTION 9-4110. FENCE REGULATIONS . (a) Fences are permitted, but not required, and are subject to the following height limitations: (1)_ Three feet above the road crown on corner lots for the triangular 30-foot area (snipe) at the road intersection. (2) Three feet in any other front or street side yard, except that an open fence Rp to six feet in height may be permitted as long as any gate is recessed a minimum of ten feet from the property line. (3) Six feet in any other required yard for parcels under 20 acres in size, or eight feet in any other required yard for parcels 20 acres and over in size . The following provisions qualify or amend the fence regula- tions specified in Subsection (a) - ( 1) Section 9-3233 : Special fence requirements.
