Applicable Countywide. <br /> Senior Planner Lorre Islas introduced a staff report into the <br /> record. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING OPENED <br /> The items heard are identified by a Listing Number. <br /> Listing No. SJ001: There were no comments from the audience. <br /> Listing No. SJ002 : Attorney Howard Seligman was present to <br /> represent Polly Vaz Trucking, property owner. He said he agreed <br /> with the staff report. <br /> Listing No. SJ003 : There were no comments from the audience. <br /> Listing No. SJ004 : Zab Card, 739 Zadell Rd. , Modesto, said he owns <br /> a service station in the area and needs the commercial designa- <br /> tion, as recommended in the staff report. <br /> Listing No. SJ005: There were no comments from the audience. <br /> Listing No. SJ006: Brian Chamberlain, 1435 Boulder Creek Ct. , <br /> Manteca, spoke in favor of the proposal. <br /> Listing No. SJ007 : Staff noted that a letter had been received <br /> from the Manteca Unified School District noting that the original <br /> recommendation did not include all of their improved property; <br /> therefore, staff enlarged the area of consideration to include that <br /> area. <br /> Attorney Steve Herum, representing the owner of the large parcel in <br /> the area, spoke in support of the proposal. <br /> Listing No. SJ008 : Staff noted that correspondence had been <br /> received in opposition to the I-W zoning and in favor of I-L <br /> zoning. (This correspondence was included in the staff report. ) <br /> Attorney Howard Seligman, representing Rhodes Bean and Supply, <br /> asked for a continuance of the rezoning portion of this proposal <br /> until the two absent Planning Commissioners could be present to <br /> hear the testimony. He explained that he was in support of the <br /> General Plan Amendment though. <br /> Listing No. SJ009 : David Ring, 1935 Sorrel Dr. , Lodi, represented <br /> his mother 's property.
