SECTION 19. Section 9-1020.7, Chapter 9-1020, Division 10, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended by addition of subsection (d) as follows.: <br /> Section 9-1020.7 Requirements for Residential Zones. The following requirements shall apply <br /> in the Residential Zones. <br /> Model Homes. Landscaped model homes shall demonstrate via signs and information <br /> the principles of water efficient landscapes described in this ordinance. <br /> Signs shall be used to identify the model as an example of a water efficient <br /> landscape and featuring elements such as hydrozones, irrigation equipment, and <br /> other which contribute to the overall water efficient theme. <br /> Information and handouts shall be provided about designing, installing, and <br /> maintaining water efficient landscapes. <br /> SECTION 21. Section 9-1020.10 is hereby added to Chapter 9-1020, Division 10, Title 9, of the <br /> San Joaquin County Ordinance Code to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-1020.10 Applicability. The requirements of this Chapter shall apply to all commercial <br /> and industrial protects, multi-family developments, mobile home parks, planned developments, <br /> and model homes. Section 9-1020.7 contains specific requirements for Residential Zones. <br /> SECTION 22. Section 9-1405.4, Chapter 9-1405, Division 14, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby repealed: <br /> 8 (BWi1diAg RegulatiGAS) of 4h@ GowAty Gode shall apply to all gradiAg pqrmw4s This- shall inalwde, <br /> but not he limited to, Expiration (SoGtion 8 1003), lAV@Sti9afi@A Fees (S@Gt;C)A 9 1004), Appeals <br /> SECTION 23. Section 9-1605.18 is hereby added to Chapter 9-1605, Division 16, Title 9, of the <br /> San Joaquin County Ordinance Code to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-1605.18 Levees. No fence without reasonable access openings at least twenty (20) <br /> feet in width shall be constructed nor shall any structure or pole be erected within ten (10) feet <br /> of the landside or waterside levee toe or within twenty-five (25) feet of the top of either bank of <br /> any natural or manmade stream without obtaining the approval of the Department of Public <br /> Works. Before granting approval,the Department shall find that the proposal will not interfere with <br /> periodic maintenance work being performed by public or private bodies. The decision of the <br /> Department of Public Works may be appealed to the Planning Commission. <br /> SECTION 24. Section 9-1705.5, Chapter 9-1705, Division 17, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> —15— <br />
