SECTION 4. Section 9-235.7, Chapter 9-235, Division 2, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended by amending subsection (a) to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-235.7 Non-Conforming Structure. A non-conforming structure shall be subject to <br /> the provisions of this Section. <br /> (a) Continuation. <br /> (1) Such structure may not be enlarged or altered, except as specifically provided <br /> for by this Chapter; <br /> (2) Should such structure be destroyed or damaged by fire, flood, wind, <br /> earthquake, or other calamity or act of God or the public enemy, it may be <br /> restored to the extent to which it existed at the time of the damage or <br /> destruction, provided that such restoration is started within a period of one <br /> (1) year and is diligently pursued to completion. <br /> (3) Should such structure be moved for any reason for any distance whatever, <br /> It shall thereafter conform to the regulations for the zone in which It Is <br /> located; <br /> (4) Such structure may be enlarged, remodeled, or repaired, provided such <br /> action does not Increase its non-conformity; and <br /> (5) Nothing in this Chapter shall be deemed to prevent the strengthening or <br /> restoring a safe condition of any building or part thereof declared to be <br /> unsafe by any county or state official charged with protecting the public <br /> health or safety, upon order of such official. <br /> SECTION 5. Section 9-310.2, Chapter 9-310, Division 3, Title 9, of the San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended by amending subsection (a) to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-310.3 Lot Size. <br /> (a) Standards. Unless otherwise specified, minimum lot sizes within the Residential <br /> Zones shall be as set forth in Table 9-310.3. Lot sizes shall meet General Plan <br /> densities. <br /> —2— <br />
