SECTION 24. Section 9-1705.5, Chapter 9-1705, Division 17, Title 9, of the San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance Code Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-1705.5 Exempt Signs. Except for the requirements contained In Sections 9-1705.4, <br /> 9-1710.2 (c)-(f), and 9-1710.3, the following signs are exempt from the requirements of this <br /> Division. These signs are not to be included in determinations on the allowable number,type <br /> or area of signs as specified in Chapter 9-1710. <br /> SECTION 25. Section 9-1710.4, Chapter 9-1710, Division 17, Title 9, of the San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance Code is hereby amended by amending subsection (d)(2)(C) and adding subsection <br /> (d)(2)(D) to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-1710.4 Sign Standards. <br /> (d) Temporary Signs. <br /> (2) Standards. <br /> (C) Except for political signs, signs shall be erected no more than thirty <br /> (30) days prior to commencement of an event and removed within <br /> seven (7) days following completion of the event. <br /> (D) Political signs shall be removed within thirty (30) days following the <br /> conclusion of an election. <br /> SECTION 26. Section 9-1905.3, Chapter 9-1905, Division 19, Title 9, of the San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance Code Is hereby amended to read: <br /> Section 9-1905.3 Violations. It is a violation of this Title for a property owner to maintain or <br /> permit a nuisance on his property. Any use of land or a structure which Is In violation of this <br /> title or in violation of permits approved pursuant to the provisions of this Title shall constitute <br /> a public nuisance and, if not made to conform, shall be subject to the enforcement <br /> procedures outlined In Section 9-1905.4. <br /> SECTION 27. Section 9-1905.4, Chapter 9-1905, Division 19, Title 9, of the San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance Code Is hereby amended by adding subsection (d) to read as follows: <br /> Section 9-1905.4 Enforcement Procedures. <br /> (d) Appeals. Appeals of a notice of a violation to this Title shall be filed pursuant to <br /> Section 9-215.12 (Appeals under the Staff Review with Notice Procedure), except for <br /> the following provisions: <br /> (1) The owner and/or occupant of the property may file this appeal. <br /> (2) When an appeal is heard by the Board of Supervisors pursuant to Section 8- <br /> 5100, any violation of Division 19 of this Title Included in the Notice of <br /> Violation shall be heard by the Board of Supervisors. <br /> SECTION 28. Section 9-1905.5 1s hereby added to Chapter 9-1905, Division 19,Title 9, of the <br /> San Joaquin County Ordinance Code to read as follows: <br /> —10— <br />
