Item No. 5 <br /> PC : 9-15-88 <br /> TA-89-1 <br /> Page 1 <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission recommend that the <br /> Board of Supervisors: <br /> 1 . Approve the Negative Declaration and instruct the Clerk to <br /> file a Notice of Determination; and <br /> 2 . Approve Text Amendment No. TA-89-1 based on the "Bases for <br /> Recommendation" given below. <br /> BASES FOR RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1 . "The proposed Text Amendment is consistent with the General <br /> Plan. " <br /> ° This statement is applicable because the revisions proposed <br /> will assist in implementing General Plan principles and <br /> objectives. <br /> 2 . "The proposed Text Amendment will not have a substantial, <br /> adverse effect on properties affected by the Text Amendment . " <br /> This statement is applicable because the Text Amendment is <br /> intended to reflect recent changes in State law and to <br /> ensure adequate road widths for streets serving a proposed <br /> development . <br />
