ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN RELATIVE TO SECTION 9-10101 CONCERNING SEWAGE DISPOSAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES FOR UNINCORPORATED URBAN CENTERS WITHOUT EXISTING WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS . THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1 . Section 9-10101 , Chapter 2 , Division 10 , Title 9 , of the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows . SECTION 9-10101 . SEWAGE DISPOSAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES FOR SPECIFIC GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS . The provision of sewage disposal facilities , as identified below by specific geographical areas, shall be required for approval of all Major or Minor Subdivisions and may be required for other discretionary applications for development by the review authority: (a) Urban Center With Incorporated Area. Sewage disposal shall be by a wastewater treatment plant provided by an existing agency; (b) Unincorporated Urban Center With an Existing Wastewater Treatment Plant . Sewage disposal shall be by a wastewater treatment plant provided by an existing agency ; or by a L l 1 L 1 provide Pgasteogater , (c )_ Unincorporated Urban Center Without an Existing Wastewater Treatment Plant . Sewage disposal shall be by a wastewater treatment plant provided ]2y an existing agency, or by a new district formed in accordance with Section 9-10004 if no agency within the Rural Center is empowered to provide wastewater treatment . Sewage disposal , however , may be pro- vided on an interim basis for residential development by individual septic tanks , provided the residential parcel is eligible for interim development and the County determines that the leach field area proposed for the septic tank system is suitable - (d f-c}- Rural Center . Sewage disposal shall be by a wastewater treatment plant provided by an existing agency, or by a new district formed in accordance with Section 9-10004 if no agency within the Rural Center is empowered to provide wastewater treatment . Sewage disposal , however , may be pro- vided on an interim basis by septic tanks , provided the County determines that the area proposed for septic tank usage is suitable ; (eZ -tcHL Planned Industrial Area Outside of Centers .
