<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE COUNTY OF SAN
<br /> JOAQUIN, RELATIVE TO SECTION 9-110.4, 9-115.465, 9-305.4, 9-310.7, 9-405.4, 9-410.7, 9-505.4,
<br /> 9-510.7, 9-605.4, 9-605.5, 9-610.7, 9-705.4, 9-705.6, 9-710.6, 9-812.5, 9-1100.3, AND 9-1415.3;
<br /> CHAPTERS 9-1020 AND 9-1022; AND TABLES 9-310.3, 9-410.3, 9-505.2, 9-505.4, 9-510.3, 9-610.2,
<br /> AND 9-710.2; CONCERNING CHANGES IN DEFINITIONS, USE CLASSIFICATIONS SYSTEM,
<br /> RESIDENTIAL ZONES,COMMERCIALZONES,INDUSTRIALZONES,AGRICULTURALZONES,OTHER
<br /> ZONES, CONDITIONAL ZONE RECLASSIFICATION, FENCING AND SCREENING, PARKING
<br /> REGULATIONS, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND QUARRIES.
<br /> SECTION 1. Section 9-110.4, Chapter 9-110, Division 1, Title 9 of the San Joaquin County
<br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended by adding 'Building Coverage" and deleting 'Building Intensity or
<br /> Building Coverage' to read as follows:
<br /> Building Coverage "Building coverage' means the amount of land covered or permitted to be
<br /> covered by a building usually measured in terms of percentage of a lot.

<br /> SECTION 2. Section 9-115.465, Chapter 9-115, Division 1, Title 9 of the San Joaquin County
<br /> ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> Section 9-115.465 Hazardous Industrial. The Hazardous Industrial use type refers to the
<br /> production, storage, or testing of materials which are especially dangerous or hazardous, but
<br /> excludes those uses classified under the Explosives Handling and General Industrial, Heavy, use
<br /> types. Typical uses include @xplosivos maPwiaGtwFiA9 toxic chemical production.
<br /> SECTION 3. Section 9-305.4, chapter 9-305, Division 3, Title 9 of the San Joaquin County
<br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> Section 9-305.4 Temporary Uses and Structures. Permitted, not permitted, and conditionally
<br /> permitted temporary uses and structures are set forth in Table 9-305.4. Temporary uses or
<br /> structures not specifically listed in Table 9-305.4 may be allowed, subject to approval of a-use
<br /> permit an Improvement Plan pursuant to Chapter 9-1921 9-884.
<br /> SECTION 4. Section 9-310.7, Chapter 9-310, Division 3, Title 9 of the San Joaquin County
<br /> Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> Section 9-310.7 Building ir#eaxsiy Coverage. The percentage of the total area of any lot which
<br /> may be occupied by buildings in the residential zones shall not exceed that set
<br /> forth in Table 9-310.3, except developments providing housing affordable to persons of low and
<br /> very low incomes may be permitted to increase building irteAsity coverage as one of the possible
<br /> bonus incentives under Chapter 9-315.
