Service to be Provided <br /> Pubic and private road maintenance including street lighting. <br /> 2. Level and Range of the Service <br /> The project will include a parkway collector and number of local streets. They will all <br /> be privately owned and maintained, though they will meet County standards. To the <br /> extent the project is required to improve abutting roads, these will be County- <br /> maintained. <br /> 3. Timing of the Service <br /> The roads will be constructed and maintained in phase with development. <br /> 4. Improvements Needed or Required <br /> A hierarchy of internal roads and off-site improvements will be needed to serve the <br /> project. <br /> 5. Financing of the Service <br /> All improvements will be financed by the applicants. The optional approaches to <br /> finance the maintenance of the private on-site roads are by the developer, the <br /> Neighborhood Association, or the CSA. <br /> The maintenance of any improvements to the abutting roads will be financed by the <br /> County. These costs should be relatively low. The project will generate about $73,000 <br /> annually in County gas tax revenues. <br /> Gas and Electric Utilities <br /> 1. Service to be Provided <br /> Gas and electric utilities. <br /> 2. Level and Range of the Service <br /> The nearest gas line is about 1000 feet east of the Koster Road-State Route 132 <br /> intersection and would have to be extended to the project. The developer's cost would <br /> be about $12 per lineal foot. Electric lines exist along Durham Ferry Road,part of the <br /> Koster Road project site frontage and State Route 132. <br /> 3.
