ORDINANCE NO. 3609 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9 OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE COUNTY <br /> OF SAN JOAQUIN, RELATIVE TO CHAPTER 24 , DIVISION 2 ; CHAPTER 3 , DIVISION <br /> 3 ; AND CHAPTER 7, DIVISION 6; CONCERNING SPECIAL PURPOSE PLANS, THE USE <br /> CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM, AND THE COMMERCIAL-RECREATION ZONE. <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24 is hereby added to Division 2 , Title 9 , of <br /> the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code, to read as follows: <br /> CHAPTER 24 <br /> SPECIAL PURPOSE PLANS <br /> SECTIONS: <br /> 9-2400: INTENT <br /> 9-2401: TYPICAL USES <br /> 9-2402 : REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION <br /> 9-2403 : REVIEW PROCEDURES <br /> 9-2404: DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS <br /> 9-2405: APPROVAL <br /> 9-2406: CONTENTS <br /> 9-2407 : SUBSEQUENT APPLICATIONS <br /> 9-2408: LEGAL EFFECT OF ADOPTED PLAN <br /> SECTION 9-2400. INTENT. The intent of this Chapter is to provide <br /> for the preparation and adoption of Special Purpose Plans to <br /> facilitate implementation of the General Plan in parts of <br /> communities or larger areas. A Special Purpose Plan shall be used <br /> to provide a greater level of detail and more specific guidance <br /> than is contained in the General Plan. The need for a Special <br /> Purpose Plan typically would be identified during a pre-application <br /> conference or by other procedures initiated by the County. <br /> SECTION 9-2401. TYPICAL USES. Typical uses for Special Purpose <br /> Plans shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> (a) Commercial Recreation and Freeway Service Uses. Planning for <br /> areas designated as Commercial Recreation or Freeway Service <br /> _ in the General Plan; <br /> (b) Utilities. Planning for the provision or installation of <br /> utilities in specific areas; <br /> TA-89-18 -1- ORD #3609 <br />
