Veterinary services for animals <br /> that are raised for commercial purposes and for large pets. <br /> Typical uses include veterinary offices for livestock and <br /> animal hospitals for livestock; <br /> (cc) Veterinary Services, Pets. Veterinary services for pets. <br /> Typical uses include pet clinics and dog and cat hospitals. <br /> SECTION 3 . Section 9-3200.8, Chapter 3, Division 3 , Title 9, of <br /> the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code is hereby amended by amending <br /> Subsection (g) and adding Subsection (n) , to read as follows: <br /> (g) Group Care. The Group Care use type refers to facilities <br /> authorized, certified, or licensed by the State of California <br /> to provide non-medical care and supervision to adults or to <br /> dependent and neglected children. Typical uses include <br /> halfway houses, nursing homes, convalescent homes, homes for <br /> the mentally retarded or emotionally disturbed, homes for drug <br /> and liquor addicts, and adult day care facilities. The <br /> following are the categories of the Group Care use type: <br /> (1) Group Care, Large. Group care facility for seven (7) or <br /> more; <br /> (2) Group Care, Small. Group care facility for six (6) or <br /> fewer; <br /> (3) Group Care, Large, Farm Related. Group care facility on <br /> a farm, ranch, or camp setting wherein bona fide <br /> commercial agricultural enterprise, animal husbandry, or <br /> farm-related vocational education, along with skills <br /> training and work experiences, and outdoor-oriented <br /> personal fitness training are substantial elements of the <br /> program provided. The density ratio shall be three (3) <br /> full-time residents for each five (5) acres. <br /> (4) Adult Day Care. Group care facility providing less than <br /> twenty-four (24) hour a day care for seven (7) or more <br /> people. <br /> (n) Recycling Services. The Recycling Services use type refers to <br /> the reuse of previously produced materials. The following are <br /> the categories of the Recycling Services use type: <br /> (1) Consumer. The collection and temporary storage, prior to <br /> recycling, of paper, aluminum, and glass products used by <br /> consumers in the home and not intended for reuse in their <br /> commercially marketed form.
