Typical uses <br /> include water slide facilities, amusement parks, open air <br /> theaters, and stadiums; <br /> (w) Recreation: Outdoor Park and Recreation. Outdoor areas used <br /> for relaxation, games, sports, and outdoor cooking. Typical <br /> uses include parks, playgrounds, and golf courses; <br /> (x) Recreation: Resort. A facility for transient guests where <br /> the primary attraction is generally recreational features or <br /> activities. Typical uses include summer camps, dude ranches, <br /> and health spas; <br /> (y) Retail Sales and Service. The Retail Sales and Service use <br /> type refers to the sale of commonly used goods and merchandise <br /> or the provision of personal services, but excludes those uses <br /> classified under other use types. The following are the <br /> categories of the Retail Sales and Service use type: <br /> (1) Primary. Retail establishments which provide a limited <br /> number of frequently or recurrently needed personal items <br /> or services for residents in an immediate neighborhood. <br /> These establishments shall be of appropriate size and <br /> scale to meet the above criteria. Typical uses include <br /> convenience stores, small grocery stores, barber shops, <br /> beauty parlors, and self-service laundromats; <br /> (2) Intermediate. Retail establishments which provide a <br /> variety of retail or personal service needs for residents <br /> in a particular area of the community. Typical uses <br /> include supermarkets, super drug stores, dry cleaners, <br /> tanning salons, video rental outlets, and neighborhood <br /> shopping centers; <br /> (3) General. Retail establishments which provide for a wide <br /> variety of the retail or personal service needs of an <br /> entire community. However, due to their scope of <br /> service, method of operation, or type of goods sold, they <br /> may be incompatible with primary or intermediate <br /> establishment locations. Typical uses include warehouse- <br /> styled retail outlets, bottled fuel sales, ammunition <br /> sales, furniture stores, and department stores; <br /> (z) Repair Services, Farm. Repair of farm implements and <br /> equipment. Typical uses include welding shops and tractor <br /> repair shops; <br /> (aa) Stables.
