Item#603. CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(C) Failed to mark initial accumulation start date on satellite <br /> containers. The following satellite containers did not have an initial start date marked: <br /> a. (1) satellite container for oily rags at the die maintenance shop. One 10gallon oily rag <br /> container labeled as CA Hazardous Waste Code #352 Oily Absorbent Satellite Container <br /> with directions to empty daily. Label shall be changed every 90 days to ensure label <br /> compliance. <br /> b. (1) satellite container of oily rags by the parts washer. One 10gallon container located in <br /> the maintenance shop on the west wall next to Bio-Circle L is deemed satellite <br /> container. CA hazardous Waste Code #352 Oily Absorbent label has been filed out and <br /> applied onto container covering manufacture signage that reads Empty Every Night. This <br /> container is used as main collection and is emptied 1x/week (Monday) by Cintas to be <br /> laundry. Only rags with light oil stain are permitted for laundry. <br /> Item#605. 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers of portable tanks of hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> a. (1) tote of used oil missing the physical properties <br /> b. (1) tote of oily water was missing the physical properties <br /> c. (1) 55-gallon drum of oily water was missing the hazardous properties <br /> This was corrected on site <br /> Item#704. CCR 66273.33(b) UW handler failed to properly manage universal waste lamps. <br /> There was a fixture with florescent tube still attached stored outside near the side B of the <br /> facility. Upon research with the maintenance team, the fixture and tubes were deemed to be in <br /> working condition and was placed on the outside fixture temporary. The fixture has since been <br /> reinstalled. Sumiden recycles florescent light tubes. Recycle container labeled Universal Waste <br /> Florescent Light is located inside the maintenance shop in the north east corner. <br /> Item#708. CCR 66273.35 UWH stored UW onsite greater than one year or was unable to <br /> demonstrate storage time. The following universal wastes were found on site with an <br /> accumulation start date greater than one year. See supporting PDF file Item 708. <br /> p. (5) containers of used batteries with accumulation start date greater than one year. The <br /> spent batteries from Nickel Metal Hydide, Alkaline, Lithium-Ion and Nickle Cadmium <br /> were taken to Nor-Cal Batteries, 3432 Cherokee Rd, Stockton, CA 95205 to recycle on <br /> 5/23/2019. See scanned receipt of drop off. <br /> a. (2) 55-gallon drums of Universal Waste aerosol cans with accumulation start date of <br /> 1/2/2018. Sumiden Maintenance Work Order#222 entered and completed on <br /> 5/6/2019. All satellite containers were emptied of all contents and containers dated <br /> 4/23/2019 as accumulation start date. Working with All Clean Hazardous Waste <br /> Removal, Inc. to schedule pickup of aerosol cans. Pickup date estimated at 6/10/2019. <br /> b. (2) 55-gallon drums of Universal Waste aerosol cans with accumulation start date of <br /> 7/2/2016. Sumiden Maintenance Work Order#222 entered and completed on <br />
