SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> JOB TITLE: P C REWINDER OPERATOR <br /> EXEMPT: No <br /> SALARY LEVEL: HOURLY <br /> SHIFT: AS ASSIGNED <br /> LOCATION: STOCKTON <br /> EMPLOYEE: <br /> REPORTS TO: SHIFT SUPERVISOR <br /> PREPARED BY: WAYNE MANNOR DATE: 6-12-96 <br /> APPROVED BY: WILLIAM PALMER REVISED: by wm DATE: 8-7-06 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Operates Rewinder Machine, to make organized Finished Pack of Strand from Random Wound <br /> Strand, delivered to Take-Up Drum from the Stranding Machine. <br /> ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> Include the following, however, other duties may be assigned. <br /> SAFETY - QUALITY - COST - DELIVERY <br /> Lifts and installs core board as required, on machine drum, and closes Rewinder Machine in <br /> Preparation to run machine. <br /> Installs end of Strand in Rewinder Machine Clamp and starts machine, and observes operation. <br /> Tends machine &shuts machine down when pack length is reached &cuts strand with chop saw. <br /> Cuts Strand Samples from each pack for QA/QC testing as directed. <br /> Bands the finished Pack using Automatic Signod Bander Machine or Hand Held Bander <br /> Releases Machine Locks and opens Machine and remove Pack using Hydraulic Table <br /> Transports Finished Pack to Scales using overhead Bridge Crane and weighs Pack. <br /> Records weight to Pack Tag and to Daily Shift Report and to Test Result of Strand Report. <br /> Removes empty spools from Stranding Machine and Installs Full spools of wire to Stranding <br /> Machine and works regularly as helper to Stranding Machine Operator. <br />
