SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: P C REWINDER OPERATOR Completes, before shift ends, all check sheets, Daily Shift Report and any other reports that may be required. Keeps work area clean at all times. This includes the area from the Take-Ups Drums at Stranding to the Scales area and or driveway passing Pickling Department from East-to-West. Works with and helps Maintenance with machine/equipment problems, and works as Maintenance Helper during Monthly Maintenance and PPSD. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and use weighing scales for scrap calculations. Ability to learn metric system of measurement for sizes and weights. (typically, millimeters and Kg's or metric tons) REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
