SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: P C REWINDER OPERATOR employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is allowed to sit: and is required to use hands to handle, or feel objects, adjust pitch or lay of strand on Rewind Machine with rewind bar, tools, or controls: reach with hands and arms: and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb or balance stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. In normal situations, an Over Head Bridge Crane is used to move heaver objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibrations from machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud, however an Operators Office is furnished for comfort. COMMENTS Employees must comply with the Code of Safe Practices and all Company Rules. Employees will be expected to operate Banding Machines, Band Cutters, Bolt Cutters, Basic Hand Tools, Fork Lift, Overhead Bridge Cranes, etc. May be involved in adjusting, handling, loading etc. of RCRA and Non-RCRA Hazardous Waste as required on a periodic nature and will be trained and tested by the Company or an outside source on an annual basis.
