SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: P C PLANT MAINTENANCE OPERATOR WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrations. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. COMMENTS The Maintenance Operator will be expected to operate a Fork Lift, help in the time of need in production, drive company vehicles for pick ups or deliveries and other duties from time to time that may not be defined in this job description. On a Daily/Weekly/ Monthly basis, take Temperature Readings, Pressure Readings, Vibration Readings etc. throughout the plant for Preventive Maintenance. Calibrate and maintain Wastewater Treatment System, Sign Logs, make out Maintenance Reports, Consumption Reports, Daily Shift Reports etc. The Maintenance Operator is required to become knowledgeable in the permit limits of the Self-Monitoring Program for the City of Stockton's Wastewater Permit, issued to Sumiden Wire and is expected to be involved in adjusting, handling, loading etc. of RCRA and Non-RCRA Hazardous Waste as required on a periodic nature and will be trained and tested by the Company or an outside source on an annual basis.
