SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: EPDXY COATING, REWINDING & REPAIRING EXEMPT: No SALARY LEVEL: HOURLY SHIFT: AS ASSIGNED LOCATION: STOCKTON EMPLOYEE: REPORTS TO: SHIFT SUPERVISOR PREPARED BY: WAYNE MANNOR DATE: 9-12-06 APPROVED BY: BILL PALMER REVISED:by DATE: X-X-XX SUMMARY Operates and Tends, one or more Strand Coating Machines, Rewinding Machines, and Repairs Pin Holes or Holidays in the Coated Materials at the Rewinding/ Reworking Machines ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following, however, other duties may be assigned at the companies requirement needs change- SAFETY - QUALITY - COST - DELIVERY Employee must follow the Code of Safe Practices and all Company Rules. Wear Safety Glasses, Safety Toe Shoes, Gloves, Ear Protection, and all other safety gear that may be required. Operates Overhead Bridge Crane, Coating Machine, Bench Vice, Hand and Electric Grinders Rewinding/ Rework and Payoff Machines, Electric Grinders, Cut-Off Saw, Pneumatic Polisher. Uses Coating Thickness Checker, Pin Hole Detector, Micrometer, Vernier Calipers, Ruler, Adjustable Wrench. Turns P C Strand Packs over, Loads Pay-Off Stand, Preperation to thread Coating Machine. Makes adjustments to Path-Line of Strand, adjusts Water Flows, Air Pressures and adjusts Rollers Threads PC Material between Rollers, Through Cleaning Line, Through Pitch Head, Through Coating Head, Through the Post Heater, Cooling Bath, Pin Hole Checker, Rewinds Coated Strand on Reel. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Standards to produce only the highest quality Epoxy Coated Strand. Observes the Coating as it passes through the machine and takes measurements as to the Coating Thickness and in the case of Flo-Bond, checks for quality of sand coverage density or unusual conditions.
