SUMIDEN WIRE PRODUCTS CORPORATION <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> JOB TITLE: EPDXY COATING, REWINDING & REPAIRING <br /> Operates Rewinding Machine to Take-Up finished, Coated Flo-Bond and Flo-Guard Coated Strand <br /> Sets Up, changes settings or Lot Numbers of Powder as necessary to keep good quality Coating. <br /> Complete, before shift ends, all check sheets, Daily Shift Reports, ID Tags, and any other <br /> reports that may be required. <br /> Keeps Work Area Clean at all times. This includes daily cleaning of Coating Room, sweep supply <br /> and pay-off area, Pickup and remove any scrap strand to scrap bin. (WORK AREA IS TO BE <br /> CLEAN FOR NEXT ON-COMING SHIFT) <br /> Helps Maintenance with machine problems, and works as Maintenance Helper during <br /> Monthly Maintenance days and PPSD. <br /> QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS <br /> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty <br /> satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, <br /> and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals <br /> with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <br /> EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE <br /> High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) <br /> LANGUAGE SKILLS <br /> Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance <br /> instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports in English. Ability to <br /> speak effectively before other employees, to communicate with others at Shift Change etc. <br /> MATHEMATICAL SKILLS <br /> Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, <br /> common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and use the metric <br /> system of measurement for sizes and weights. (Typically millimeters and kg's or metric ton) <br /> REASONING ABILITY <br /> Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations <br /> where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions <br /> furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. <br />
