Highway 99 <br /> Stockton, CA 95215 <br /> • AEROSOL CANS- These cans,when containing hazardous product, are considered <br /> hazardous (example: layout paint cans). When the cans become empty, they are no <br /> longer considered hazardous and can be discarded normally with non-hazardous trash. <br /> • Items that need to be accumulated and disposed as Universal Waste: <br /> ➢ FLUORESCENT BULBS ➢ ELECTRIC SWITCHES <br /> ➢ COMPUTERS/CELLPHONES ➢ HID LAMPS <br /> ➢ MONITORS ➢ THERMOMETERS <br /> ➢ SMALL ELECTRONICS ➢ RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES <br /> ➢ HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES ➢ UNEMPTIED AEROSOL CANS <br /> These items are to be accumulated in the designated area located in the southwest corner of <br /> the indoor material storage—next to archived boxes. These materials need to be disposed <br /> of annually. <br /> • Metal grindings from shop floor that are less than 100 microns (diameter of a human <br /> hair) should be swept and discarded into the solid waste disposal bin located in the <br /> mechanic's shop. Larger grindings can go in recycle metal bin. <br /> • In addition to these metal grindings, the following is to be discarded in this solid waste <br /> disposal bin: <br /> ■ Oily rags <br /> ■ Floor sweep <br /> • Common violations for Hazardous Waste Generators: <br /> ■ Lack of labeling or eligible labels <br /> ■ General housekeeping (cleanup of spills, secondary containment, etc.) <br /> ■ Missing manifest documentation <br /> ■ Employee training <br />
