3.0 .RESULTS
3.1 DEPTH TO GROUND WATER
Depth to ground water measurements and ground water elevations are presented on Table
1 - Ground Water Elevations The average depth to ground water at the site on September
23, 1993 was approximately 31.5 feet below ground surface (bgs). The water depths
compare well to those measured in previous monitoring events and reveal that seasonal
water level variations at the site are on the order of 7 to 8 feet.
3.2 GROUND WATER FLOW DIRECTION AND GRADIENT
Ground water elevations are presented in Table 1. Figure 2 - Ground Water Elevations
shows the direction of ground water flow beneath the site on September 23, 1993 to be
toward the southwest. The gradient of the ground water surface was calculated as 0.0025
feet/foot. This gentle gradient is similar to that calculated for previous monitoring events.
3.3 GROUND WATER ANALYSES
Analytical results for ground water samples collected from wells MW-1 through MW-4 and
the trip blank are included as Appendix B, and are also presented on Table 2 -Summary of
Analytical Results for Ground Water Samples. TPH-D, and BTEX were not detected in
the ground water samples collected from any of the wells or the trip blank sample.
Environmental Science
F\6925009\3gmr 993 4 &Engineering.Inc.
