The following is an itemized list of hazardous materials violations that have not been <br /> addressed for ELI TAVAREZ as of June 09, 2020. <br /> Open violations from March 08, 2018 inspection <br /> Violation#11 -Failed to provide or document initial and/or refresher training to appropriate personnel. <br /> The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel receive initial and annual <br /> refresher training. This training shall be documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for <br /> a minimum of three years. Immediately provide employee training for appropriate personnel and submit a copy of <br /> the training records to the EHD. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#16-Failed to submit emergency response plan when not meeting Ag handler exemption <br /> requirements. <br /> This farm business does not meet the requirements for exemption from filing emergency response procedures in <br /> the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). Training on safety procedures in the event of a release <br /> and markings on the diesel tank were lacking. To meet this exemption, a farming business shall: <br /> -annually submit the Hazardous Materials Inventory <br /> -mark each building that stores any pesticides, petroleum fuels and oil, or fertilizers with warning signs <br /> -provide training for all employees in safety procedures in the event of a release or threatened release of a <br /> hazardous material. <br /> Immediately take all steps to meet the requirements for exemption from filing emergency response procedures, or <br /> log into the CERS at http://c.ers.calepa.ca.gov/, and upload emergency response procedures for a release or <br /> threatened release of hazardous materials, including, but not limited to,the following: <br /> -immediate notification of local emergency personnel and the Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> -procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment <br /> -evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the site. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
