16 October 2001
AGE-NC Project No. 01-0871
• TPH-g was detected in three soil samples collected at depths of 20 feet, 25 feet and 30 feet
bsg from probe boring P-3 at low concentrations.
• Toluene(0.02 mg/kg),ethylbenzene(0.006 mg/kg)and xylenes(0.026 mg/kg)were detected
in the soil sample collected at 30 feet bsg in boring P-3.
• Lead concentrations in the soil analyzed fell within the background range for California soils
and well below concentrations normally of regulatory concern.
• The detected hydrocarbon concentrations generally increased with increasing depth in the
three impacted samples; the vertical and horizontal extent of impacted soil is not known.
• As the shallow samples (10 and 15 feet bsg) did not appear to be impacted and
concentrations of hydrocarbons generally increased with depth in the 20 feet,25 feet and 30
feet samples, it is possible that the source of the contaminants may have been from the
product line(s) or dispenser(s) rather than the UST.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory.Evaluations of the geologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of available data
points(i.e. soil samples)and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points. No other
warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional recommendations contained in this
report.
Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc.
