MW-1 and MW-2 were purges dry after removing four gallons of water and
. one-half gallas of water, respectively, The groundwater in these wells was allowed to recharge a? feast
80 percent of the measured static water level before being sampled. The groundwater samples were
collected with an EPA-approved TeflonR sampler and placed in 40-mflliliter (ml) glass vials, and i-liter
amber glass bottles. Fifty percent hydrochloric acid (HCL)was added to the 40-m1 glass vials until a pH
of less than 2 was achieved, The 40-mi glass vials were capped with TeflonR-lined caps so that no air was
trapped inside. The samples were labeled, preserved on ice,and defivefed with the appropriate Chain-of
Custody manifest to GTEL for subsequent analysis. Groundwater samples obtained from all eight wells
were analyzed for TPH-D using modified EPA Method 8015, and TPH-G and BTEX using EPA Methods
5030/8015/8020.
Re,.
