Wells will be developed
to remove silt and clay from within the casing and the annulus, and increase flow from the formation
to the well, Developm2r•t will continue until produced water is clear and free of sediroents.
Following development of the new wells, all existing wells (MW-1 through MW-8) and the new wells
(MW-9 and MW-10) will be monitored for depth to water and sampled for TPH-G and BTEX analyses
using EPA method 550301802.0, )15 (m+)dified). Prior to sampling these wells will be purged, using
2 pump or clean acrylic bailer, of four well volumes or until pH, temperature, and conductivity
in 40 milliliter vials, labeled, placed on
measurements stabilize. Water samples will then be collected
ice, and transported to a State of California Department of ethotds 35501802UI8015Services certified a1mod'f d1 underoratory I!
chain-of-custody. Analyses will be performed t+s'ng EPA n
groundwater produced during sampling will be stored onsite in DOT-approved 17-H,55-gallon drums
to a common datum with
pending characterization for disposal. The new w^ll heads will be surveyed
the existing well leads.
TASK 3: Report Preparation
A report of findings will be prepared and submitted to the SJCEHD whi& will describe the actual
procedures used during the investigation, dates of field work, a discussion of findings, and
recommendations for further assessment or feasibility studies (i.e. soil vapor extraction and/or
groundwater extraction). The report will also include all relevant data collected in the field, tabulated
monitoring and laboratory data, analytical reports, and maps of the potentiometric surface, dissolved
benzene and TPH-G concentrations.
TASK 4: Quarterly Compliance Monitoring and Sampling with
Quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling of this site will be performed to comply
requirements of the SJCEHD and the CRWQCB. This program will begin at the time the new wells and
existing wells are sampled as described above. Quarterly monitoring and sampling will consist of
- gauging each well far depth to water (and depth to product, if present) for determining groundwater
-- --- ---
elevations. Selected wells will be purged,and sampled as❑9scn e a av --
 GwUxl)%V'Vm
TECIINOLOGY,,
