The almond orchard is maintained by a contracted manager. <br /> No items of potential environmental concern were identified from the interview responses <br /> given by Mr. David Fredriks. <br /> 6.0. REGULATORY AGENCY RECORD SEARCH <br /> AGI contacted appropriate regulatory agencies to review records regarding the subject <br /> property and surrounding sites identified as having recognized environmental conditions <br /> that have potential to impact the subject property based on groundwater flow direction, <br /> distance from the subject property and nature of the releases causing the environmental <br /> condition. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) and the Central <br /> Valley Region Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) maintain records of industrial <br /> violations for this area and are the lead agencies for the enforcement of the State <br /> Underground Storage Tank and Hazardous Waste Laws for San Joaquin County. <br /> AGI contacted EDR, a data retrieval company, to conduct a computer search of federal, <br /> state and regional regulatory agency databases of sites having recognized environmental <br /> conditions or that had permits to manufacture, store, utilize, treat or dispose hazardous <br /> materials. EDR provided AGI with a report of sites within specified search distances of <br /> the subject property that were listed on various environmental databases. <br /> 6.1. AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE/PESTICIDE USE <br /> A review of the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner records included the <br /> following records: <br /> • A map showing the subject parcels as part of a 208-acre almond orchard operated <br /> by Fredriks Almond Farms. <br /> • Restricted Materials Permit issued in February 2019 for possession and use of <br /> pesticides for agricultural use at the property. Permit details indicate that <br /> employees handle pesticides. The pesticide inventory included the following: <br /> o Carbaryl for controlling larvae, applied to air and soil. <br /> o Aluminum phosphine for controlling rodents, applied as a fumigant. <br /> o Strychnine for controlling gophers, applied to soil as bait. <br /> 0 2,4-D Amine and Paraquat for controlling weeds, applied as a liquid to the <br /> soil. <br /> • Restricted Materials Permit issued in January 2016 for possession and use of <br /> pesticides for agricultural use at the property. Permit details indicate that <br /> employees handle pesticides. The pesticide inventory included the following: <br />
