4. Put W Chir. in first. Lift the str•piece out and over your <br /> head. <br /> S. To tighten the straps, use both hands, one on each aide and <br /> pull straight back--not out. Tighten side bottom straps first <br /> then top side straps and finally top strap. <br /> 6. Test the fit: <br /> a. Lightly cover the exhalation valve with the palm of your <br /> hand. Exhale. . .if there is a leak, you will feel the air <br /> on your face. <br /> b. Cover the cartridge with the palms of your hands. Again, <br /> don't press too hard. inhale. . .tte face should collapse <br /> against your face. <br /> c. If there is a leak with either test, adjust the headbands <br /> or reposition the facepiece and test until no leakage is <br /> detected. <br /> Sanitizing Procedures <br /> I. Remove all cartridges plus seals not affixed to their seats. <br /> 2. Remove elas_ic lie,01bands. <br /> 3. Remove exhalation cover. <br /> 4. Remove apeaklag diaphragm or speaking diaphragm-exhalation <br /> valve assembly. <br /> S. Romcve inhsletion Valves. <br /> 6. wash facepiece and hreathing tuj:e in clearer/sanitizes powder <br /> M; <br /> xed with wc!,m water, preferably at 120 to 140 degrees F. <br /> kaah components separately from the facemask, as necessary. <br /> Remove heavy soil from surfaces with a hand brush. <br /> 7. Remove all parts from the wash water and rinse twice in clean <br /> warm water. <br /> B. Air-dry parts in a designated clean area. <br /> 9.
