Previous investigation co ducted by Bechtel <br /> National, Inc. , under the auspices of the California epartment of Health <br /> Services, identified area of concern. These two areas are currently under <br /> investigation by Kleinfelder. To verify previous findings and to perform <br /> a due diligence, the lending institute requested an a vironment audit and <br /> confirmation study. Dames and Moore was contracted to conduct a Phase 1, <br /> screening study to identify areas where a second phase confirmation might <br /> be warranted. The results of this screening work and subsequent Phase 2 <br /> work recommendations are continued in the attached Dames and Moore report <br /> (Attachment 1) . <br /> i <br /> This work plan is for the conduct of the Phase II investigation of the <br /> American Moulding and Millwork (formerly American Forest Products) <br /> recommended by Dames and Moore in their report of February 25. Certain <br /> scope changes have been made based on J. H. Kleinfelder & Associates' <br /> (Kleinfelder) procedures and further discussions with Mr. Marvin Palmer of <br /> American Moulding and Millwork (AM&M) . <br /> 46-87-282 1 <br />
