�Y <br /> M' 10ames & Moore <br /> BACKHOE PITS <br /> I have arranged for a backhoe and operator to be on site <br /> Thursday , May 7 for collection of surface soil samples. The backhoe <br /> pits will be excavated to a depth of 3 feet at locations described <br /> below : <br /> o Adjacent to waste oil tank east of Maintenance Building <br /> o Open ground south of Priming Building <br /> o Open ground east of Ray Bond Building <br /> o Open ground north of Millwork Building <br /> o Drainage ditch west of Saw Filing Room <br /> Opened pits will be backfilled with removed material . <br /> WATER AND SEDIMENT SAMPLES <br /> I will be collecting surface water and drain sump sediment <br /> samples from a few outside locations at your facility and do not <br /> anticipate disturbance to your operations. <br /> I will also need to collect a water sample from the water supply <br /> well located on the eastern portion of your facility . I have been <br /> informed that this well is operational although not currently used . <br /> a Water sampling requires the well to be turned on and allowed to <br /> A produce water for approximately 20 minutes until sample collection is <br /> completed . <br /> I hope this letter has clarified our planned scope of work at <br /> your facility . I will be able to finalize sample location logistics <br /> with you when I arrive on Monday, May 4 and anticipate the completion <br /> of our sampling program by Thursday , May 7 . Our goal is to collect <br /> the planned samples with a minimum of interference to your <br /> operations.
