Box 2912 <br /> Mission, Kansas ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Dear Mr. Landon: FERMIT/SERVICES <br /> MARLEY COOLING TOWER COMPANY, STOCKTON FACILITY <br /> Thank you for your March 5th progress report . At the <br /> January 22nd meeting between your company, the Department of <br /> Health Services (DHS) , the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (RWQCB) , and the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency <br /> (EPA) , we requested information obtained from earlier <br /> investigations at the Stockton facility. The specific items <br /> are listed below. <br /> 1 . Water level data from the piezometers . <br /> 2 As-built drawings for all monitoring wells and <br /> piezometers . <br /> 3 . Field data and information on all well installation <br /> problems, i . e. , casing installation problems, drilling <br /> Problems , wells abandoned during construction, etc . <br /> 4 . Aquifer test data and calculations for transmissivity <br /> and flow velocity, including models/formulas used. <br /> 5 Hydrologic data acquired from the San Joaquin County <br /> Flood Control District and Department of Water Resources , as <br /> referred to in the Groundwater Assessment Report . <br /> 6 . Calculations to determine the hydraulic ,gradient based <br /> on the measured water surface elevations in the wells. <br /> 7 . Copies of actual electric logs and actual chemical and <br /> soils laboratory analysis results for soils and groundwater <br /> samples . <br /> We are also requesting that you submit similar detailed <br /> geotechnical data and laboratory analysis for the six newest <br /> wells which were not included in the earlier reports . <br />
