Samples should be obtained from depths of 3, 5, 7, and
10 feet .and should be analyzed for copper, arsenic, and both trivalent
and hexavalent chromium. Physical properties of the samples such as pH,
total organic and clay content, soil classification and permeability should
also be obtained.
We understand you plan to proceed with the drilling work very soon. We
would appreciate it if you would give us a day or two advance notice of the
sampling in order that we may be present and possibly collect some duplicate
samples.
In addition, we can also finalize plans for sampling the storm water pond
and resample the water wells located on-site.
If you have any questions
please call me at (916) 322-9093, j
 !
BOB FUJII
Area Engineer
i
REF:sb
r
Attachment
i
cc: Mr. Ron Heinzen, Kleinfelder & Associates, Stockton /
Mr. Lee Hall , San Joaquin County Health Dept. , Stockton V i
Mr. Jim Pappas, DOHS-HWMB, Sacramento
k
z. l
